Themes are visual themes for your galleries. You can create a unique Theme for each genre of photography you shoot. Adding your logo, customizing colors and fonts, and choosing a dark or light theme helps to align your galleries with your brand. Your logo appears on some Gallery Intro layouts, the gallery sign-in page, and the About page in your galleries. Select a Theme in the Typography & Colors tab of the Branding section in the Gallery Settings to apply it to the gallery.
Creating a New Theme
- Go to Studio > Theme > New Theme
- Name your new Theme
- Upload your logo in PNG form
- You’ll want to upload a file that’s 1-3mb in size. The logo will be resized to a maximum length and/or height of 300px, maintaining the file’s original aspect ratio. If your logo seems smaller than expected, make sure that you’ve removed any extra negative space by cropping your logo all the way to the text or graphic.
- Make sure to add a logo for both the Gallery and the Contract/Invoice/Email sections

- Select whether you want a white (Light Theme) or black (Dark Theme) background
- Choose different colors and fonts for your galleries
- Click into the Desktop Gallery, Mobile Gallery, and Email tabs on the left side of the page to see how your colors and logo will look
- When you're fixed, click Save
This new Theme can be chosen for any of your galleries by going to the Typography & Colors tab in the Branding section of the Gallery Settings.
Why does my logo look small?
There are a couple of things to do to be sure that you are maximizing the size of your logo in your galleries, emails, contracts, and invoices.
- First, make sure that the file you’ve uploaded is at least 300px on the longest edge. For best results, we recommend that your file is a PNG with a transparent background.
- Second, be sure that your logo is cropped all the way to the very edge of the graphic. If you have any additional white space in the file, it may cause your logo to appear smaller than it actually is.
