Color Correction is an optional add-on when fulfilling orders with Bay Photo through ShootProof. Color Correction can be added to the lab approval process for each order that you submit to the lab through ShootProof, and the lab will perform the color correction prior to printing.

Color Correction service enables each image in your order to be individually color corrected by Bay's experienced technicians.

Color Correction vs. No Color Correction

Bay Photo has a highly trained staff of Color Correction technicians to color correct your images. This includes adjustments for Lightness/Darkness, Red, Green, Blue, Saturation, and Contrast. Each image is viewed and color corrected individually by hand.

Bay Photo does not include color correction by one of their technicians unless you select this option when submitting the order. For photographers that prefer to do their own color correction, know that Bay Photo calibrates their machines regularly throughout the day to ensure consistent results. It is best to have a properly calibrated and profiled monitor.

Color Correction Pricing

The price for color correction from Bay Photo is a one time per unique image charge per order. This means that if "Image A" was being printed at ten different sizes in a particular order, you would only be charged one time for color correction for that file.

For each order, you will see the total price for optionally color correcting the order in the add-ons section of the lab order approval for Bay.
