Legacy ShootProof Payments is no longer available to US Studios. Remove ShootProof Payments and activate ShootProof Pay to continue accepting online payments. Click here to learn how.
If your ShootProof Pay account setup is incomplete, ShootProof will notify you via email, in-app messaging, and/or banner alerts within your account. If you're unsure what your next steps are, we want to help! See the FAQ's below, and if you need additional assistance, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Why am I receiving communication that my ShootProof Pay setup is incomplete?
Your ShootProof Pay account setup is considered "Incomplete" for one of these two reasons:
Your account is currently set up with the Legacy ShootProof Payments payment gateway. This payment processor was available to U.S. studios from 2009 until March of 2021. In order to keep accepting payments through your ShootProof account, you're required to upgrade to the new ShootProof Pay by June 1, 2021.
You have begun the process of setting up ShootProof Pay but have not completed all the required steps.
Why is my setup incomplete? I thought I finished the required steps.
To successfully update your payment processor to ShootProof Pay, visit the Accept Credit Cards page and:
- Create a ShootProof Pay Account
- Remove your current payment gateway**
- Activate the new ShootProof Pay gateway
**Important: You will not be able to remove your gateway if you have lab orders in the "Awaiting Studio" status. If you see orders "Awaiting Studio", you have three options for resolving them so you can continue to set up ShootProof Pay.
Not sure if you have orders that need to be submitted? Click here.
I’m not interested in accepting payments online at this time. How do I stop receiving messages about incomplete setup?
If you currently have Legacy ShootProof Payments set up in your account, go to the Accept Credit Cards page and Remove the gateway.
If you've added the new ShootProof Pay to your account, disconnect it from your account on the Accept Credit Cards page.
