Pricing Update FAQ

In anticipation of our upcoming price changes for select plans we've compiled a list addressing some common questions.

Q: Which plans are affected by the price change, and how much will they increase?

A. We're increasing photo plan prices for select plans billed in USD by $.99 or $1.99 for monthly plans, and $9.99 or $19.99 for yearly plans. 

If you're currently in a Yearly plan, your next bill on or after June 1, 2024 will reflect the $9.99 or $19.99 increase, depending on your plan (see below).

If you're currently in a Monthly plan, your next bill on or after June 1, 2024 will reflect the $.99 or $1.99 increase, depending on your plan (see below).

 

Any plan changes prior to June 1, 2024 will reflect the current pricing.

(Note that there is no price change for the Unlimited Photo Plan USD.)

 

 

Q: What countries are billed in USD?
A:
In addition to the United States, the following country's plans are billed in USD and will be changing:

Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, India, Israel, Latvia, Luxembourg, Mexico, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa, and United Arab Emirates

 

Q: I’m not located in the United States so why is my plan being billed in USD?
A: ShootProof currently supports billing in USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, & AUD. If your native currency is not represented in this list, you are billed in USD.

 

Q: Are you going to raise the price of the Unlimited plan in USD?
A: At this time there are no plans to change the price of the Unlimited plan.

 

Q: Can I cancel my subscription before the increase?
A: Yes, you can cancel your subscription before the new prices go live provided you do so no less than three calendar days before the end of your billing period.

To close your account, you'll go to the little person icon at the top right > Plan & Billing. You'll find the option to cancel your subscription towards the bottom of the Photo Plan section. If you do this, your account should not be billed again. Please note that doing so will also permanently delete all of your photos.

 

Q: I’m on an annual plan. When will my price go up?
A
: The new annual plan price will be billed at your next renewal date after June 1st.

If you change your plan after June 1st, but before your renewal date, you will be billed at the new yearly rate. 

 

Q: Why does this price increase only affect studios paying in USD?
A: Given the unique complexities of international currencies and calculations, prices will not change at this time for studios paying for their ShootProof subscriptions in other currencies.
