When you first receive a lab order, it will be in the Awaiting Studio Approval status. You have three options:
- Approve the order for lab production
- Cancel the order
- Convert the order to self-fulfilled and fulfill it outside of ShootProof
To approve the order for lab production, click Start Approval. Make any necessary edits, adjust crops, and optionally add boutique packaging.
For the lab to receive and print the order, you must approve it first. Once you click Send to Lab, the files will be sent to the lab for immediate production.
Once an order is approved to be printed at the lab, it cannot be canceled or changed.
To cancel the order, simply choose the Canceled status from the dropdown menu beside the order number at the top left of the order page. You can send an email to your client notifying them of the order status update.
For those using ShootProof Pay as your payment processor, orders containing lab-fulfilled items are not charged to the client until they are approved to be sent to the lab, so you will not need to refund them for this order. If you are using a third-party payment processor, you will need to refund your client from that payment processor.
To convert the order to self-fulfilled, click the overflow button (three little dots) beside the Download Files button, and select Convert to Self Fulfilled. Select all of the items and click Convert Items.
If you use ShootProof Pay as your payment processor please be aware that when you convert an order to self-fulfilled the client will be charged for the order cost.
