I have an order Awaiting Studio Approval. What are my options?

When you have a Lab Order awaiting Studio Approval, you have three options:

  • Approve the order for lab production
  • Cancel the Order and Refund the client
  • Convert the Order to Self-Fulfilled and fulfill it outside of ShootProof

To approve the order for lab production, click "Start Approval". Make any necessary edits, adjust crops, and optionally add boutique packaging. Once you click "Send to Lab", the files will be sent to the lab for immediate production. 

* Note that once an order is approved to be printed at the lab, it cannot be canceled or changed.*

 

To cancel the order and refund your client, simply choose the Canceled status from the dropdown menu beside the order number at the top left of the order page. You have the option to send an email to your client notifying them of the order status update. 

If you use ShootProof Pay, you have 180 days to refund clients through ShootProof for any reason. You can do this by clicking the blue Payment Details button on the Order page and then clicking Issue Refund. 

 

To convert the order to self-fulfilled, click the overflow button (three little dots) beside the Download Files button, and select Convert to Self Fulfilled. Select all of the items and click Convert Items.

If you use ShootProof Pay as your payment processor please be aware that when you convert an order to self-fulfilled the client will be then be charged for the order cost.
