Can I have lab orders automatically sent to the lab?

While we do not recommend this for most studios, you can have orders automatically sent to a ShootProof partner lab without having to approve them.

Be aware that turning on Auto Approval in your account means that client orders will be sent to the lab for printing regardless of whether you have reviewed it. This means that crops, paper types, print sizes, files, etc. may be incorrect. Orders are unable to be changed, edited, or canceled once they have been sent to the lab.

If you decide to use Auto-Approval, you should not have Boutique Packaging turned on in your Lab Order Defaults, as not all orders are eligible for Boutique Packaging options and this will cause issues with order fulfillment. 

Orders placed by you, the studio, within your account will never be auto-approved to go to the lab. Only orders created in the client view of a gallery can be automatically submitted to the lab. Click here to learn more about placing an order as a studio.
 

To enable Auto-Approval:

  1. Go to Store > Orders > Lab Order Defaults

  2. Toggle on the Auto Approve Orders option

  3. Choose if you'd like an email sent to your studio when orders have been auto-approved

  4. Select the Auto Send Time (the number of days after an order is placed that the system will automatically approve it)


It is VERY important to note that once an order has been approved for printing at the lab, it cannot be canceled or changed.
