Poppy is ShootProof’s AI-powered assistant. Poppy can answer questions about ShootProof features, provide insight on workflows, and help you understand how to use your account. Poppy has read-only access to your account in order to provide more personalized, relevant support.
We know your photography business is personal. So is the way we handle your data. This page explains how Poppy uses your information, how we protect it, and what you should know to get the best experience.
How We Use Your Data
When you interact with Poppy, your conversations and account data are used to provide you with accurate, helpful responses. Here’s what that means:
- Personalized support. Poppy may reference your account details—like storage usage or subscription level—to give you answers tailored to your setup rather than generic guidance.
- Quality improvement. Conversations with Poppy may be reviewed by our team to improve accuracy, identify gaps in our documentation, and make Poppy more helpful over time. Do not share information with Poppy that you wouldn’t share with our support team.
- We don’t use your data to train third-party AI models, sell to advertisers, or share with outside parties. Your information is used to help you, and will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Your Privacy, Our Priority
Your work stays yours. Always. Poppy is built to support your business, not to interfere with or exploit your content. We are committed to:
- Protecting your intellectual property. Your images, client information, and creative work are never used to build, train, or enrich AI models—ours or anyone else’s.
- Keeping you in control. Poppy provides guidance and information. It doesn’t make decisions for you and cannot take actions on your account.
- Evolving transparently. AI is still evolving, and so is Poppy. As we introduce new capabilities, we’ll keep you informed about what’s changing and why.
Account Security & Sensitive Information
Your conversations may be reviewed. To improve Poppy’s performance and to ensure accuracy, conversations may be reviewed by our team. Don't share any information with Poppy that you wouldn't share with our Support team.
Poppy cannot process or store sensitive financial data. For your protection:
- Do not submit credit card numbers, debit card numbers, or bank account details
- Do not share Social Security Numbers (SSN), Employer Identification Numbers (EIN), or tax documents
- Do not attempt to update payment methods through Poppy

Accuracy & Limitations
Poppy provides guidance based on ShootProof’s documentation and your account information, but it’s not perfect. Always review responses from Poppy for accuracy. For critical business decisions—such as pricing strategies, contract terms, tax compliance—we recommend verifying any information with our support team or your professional advisors. If something doesn’t seem right, trust your instincts and reach out to us directly.
