What is a Linked Contact?

  • Updated

For each gallery, you can choose one contact to be the Linked Contact. This individual can be given special privileges in the gallery, such as notifying you when they've finished selecting their Favorites, hiding photos, labeling photos, and getting access to a gallery that is in pre-registration mode and unavailable to other gallery visitors.

Link a Contact to a Gallery

  1. First, ensure you have created the contact via Studio > Clients > New Contact

  2. Then go to Galleries > All Galleries > click into the gallery you want to add the contact to

  3. Click Add Linked Contact to the left and select an existing contact or click Create New Contact to ad a new contact to link to the gallery. The email address you enter is the one the client will need to use to access the gallery.

  4. Choose what permissions the Linked Contact can have:

    • Enable Favorites Notification to let the Linked Contact easily email you once they've selected their favorite images.

    • Allow the Linked Contact to hide or label photos in their gallery. For both of these options, you will need to create a 6-digit access code.

  5. Click Save.

    •  If you'd like to save these contact permissions to use for Linked Contacts going forward, click Save and Create Preset and give the preset a name. You'll now be able to select this preset from the Use a saved permission preset drop-down menu when setting up contact permissions.
