Black River Imaging (BRI) offers several add-on options, such as mounting and texture options, color correction, and boutique packaging. These add-ons can only be added to orders by the studio after the client has placed the order.

Adding Mounting & Texture to Prints
Mounting Options
Mounting services give your images professional polish. Choose from 3 types of mounting:
Artboard Mounting - Artboard mounting gives your prints a rigid backing for mounting inside a frame. Please not that this fiber-based board could warp if left unframed on sizes above 11x14.
Styrene Mounting - Styrene is a plastic mounting whiteboard. This rigid board is one of the best mounting substrates available and is an economical mounting option. Styrene is available in all sizes 5x7 and larger.
Foamboard Mounting -Foamboard is an inexpensive, warp-resistant mounting option available for selected sizes in both black and white. Black foamboard is only available for 8x10 and 16x20 prints.

Texture Options
Increase the drama and durability of your prints with one of three texture options:
Canvas Texture - Creates the appearance of an artist’s canvas
Linen Texture - Adds the old-world appearance of Irish Linen Rag
Pebble Texture - Adds a professional touch and discourages scanning of your photo
Adding Mounting & Texture to Prints
Mounting and textures can easily be added to Black River Imaging print orders during the order approval process in your ShootProof account.
Before clicking the Start Approval button in any lab order, you can click the Edit Item link for any individual photo or product to view the mounting and texture options that are available, along with the cost associated with each option. Options and prices vary based on the print size that is ordered.
Note: Mounting is not available for the following print sizes: 4x5, 3.5x5, 4x6, 5x5, 2.5x3.5, 3x6, 4x12
Texture is not available for the following print sizes: 4x5, 3.5x5, 4x6, 5x5, 2.5x3.5, 3x6, 5x10, 10x10, 5x7, 8x10, 8x8, 7x7, 8x16, 6x8, 8x12, 7x10
Color Correction
Color Correction is an optional add-on when fulfilling orders with Black River Imaging through ShootProof. Color Correction can be added in the lab approval process for each order that you submit to BRI through ShootProof and the lab will perform the color correction prior to printing. Corrections will include slight adjustments to density and contrast.
Black River Imaging's Color Correction is included as a FREE optional add-on to any order. Simply check the option to color correct the images when submitting your order and BRI will take care of your images.
Boutique Packaging
Black River Imaging offers boutique packaging that you can add to an order on the Order Approval page.
- Available for prints up to 11x14
- Perfect for orders shipping directly to a client or whenever you need upscale packaging
- Costs a flat rate of $7.73 per order
- Includes a black box (larger print orders) or black folder (small print orders), vanilla tissue paper, and a designer band
