Stay organized and prevent scheduling mishaps with our new Google Calendar integration for Booking. Booked sessions are added to your personal calendar as soon as they're confirmed. The new integration also blocks off times that you are listed as Busy on your personal calendar so that clients won't have the option to book during those times.
Set Up Google Calendar
To add your Google Calendar, go to Studio > Booking and click the Calendar Sync button in the top right corner*. When you click the Connect to Google Calendar, a separate window opens for you to sign into your Google account.
Once you've signed in, you'll be prompted to give ShootProof access to your Google account. Both of these options must be selected for the integration to work.
After you confirm these permissions, you'll be taken back to ShootProof to finish setting up the integration. Click Add to Calendar to choose the calendar where you'd like your booked sessions added. Click Check for Conflicts** to select the calendars that you want to be referenced for your availability.
Once confirmed, booked sessions show on the calendar selected in the Add to Calendar section as an event with the client's name and the session type. Your client's email address will be added as an attendee on the calendar event.
In addition to the calendar sync, this integration also adds Google Meet as a location option. When this is selected, a Google Meet link will be created and included in the calendar event.
*The Calendar Sync button will only show for the account owner.
**For events to be added to your block off times in the ShootProof, you will need to have them listed on your Google Calendar as Busy.
