ProDPI offers several add-on options, such as mounting and texture options, color correction, and boutique packaging. These add-ons can only be added to orders by the studio after the client has placed the order.

Adding Mounting & Texture to Prints
Mounting Options
ProDPI currently offers 8 types of mounting for photographic prints. Print mounting is a process where photographic prints are mounted to a substrate (matboard, styrene, foam, etc.) to enhance the presentation of the print and increase durability. All mounting substrates are undersized and you can find specifics on each of them below.
Matboard Mounting - Matboard Mounting is available for photographic and fine art prints in sizes up to 16x20. It is a thin white fiber based material and is great for mounting on smaller prints. The boards are about 1/16" thin and will be approximately 1/8" undersized. Matboard is not recommended for environments with drastic or frequent changes in humidity.
White Foam Mounting -White Foam Mounting is available for prints in sizes up to 30x50. It is a lightweight white foam board with a white backing and is great for any size print but is especially recommended for prints that will be framed. The white foam is 3/16" thick and will be approximately 1/8" undersized.
Black Foam Mounting - Black Foam Mounting is available for prints in sizes up to 30x50. It is a lightweight but dense black foamboard with a shiny black finish on the back and is especially recommended for larger print sizes. It is very durable and will not be affected by changes in humidity. The black foam is 3/16" thick and will be approximately 1/8" undersized.
Black and White Styrene - Black and White Styrene Mounting is available with photographic and fine art prints in sizes up to 30x40. Styrene is a dense plastic substrate and can be fairly heavy in larger sizes. For very large sizes it is recommended most for prints that will be framed or displayed on easels or shelves, but it is great for any use on smaller sizes. It can sway slightly in very large sizes due to weight but is extremely durable. Styrene is 3/32" and will be approximately 1/8" undersized.
Black and White 3/4" Standout Mounting - Black and White 3/4" Standout Mounting is available with prints in various standard sizes. Standout boards are made of 3/4" thick but lightweight foam have a black or white finished edge. Prints are mounted flush with the edge of the standout and are great for a 'ready to hang' option. Each board has holes pre punched in the back for easy placement on the wall and can be hung using a nail or pushpin depending on the size. 3/4" Standout Mounting is approximately 1/4" undersized.
Black 1.5" Standout Mounting - Black 1.5" Standout Mounting is available with prints in a handful of standard sizes. Standout boards are made of 1.5"" thick but lightweight foam have a black finished edge. Prints are mounted flush with the edge of the standout and are great for a 'ready to hang' option. 1.5" Standout Mounting is approximately 1/2" undersized.
Texture Options
Available in two finishes (Pebble and Linen), texture adds copyright protection as well as a professional touch to your photographic prints.
Adding Mounting & Texture to Prints
Mounting and texture options can be added to items in an order by clicking the Edit Item button on an individual item. The available mounting and texture options will show for the selected, along with the associated cost. Options and prices vary based on the print type and size.
Note: Mounting is not available on the following print sizes: wallets, 3.75x5, 7x10, 5x7.5, 4x8, 12x16
Texture is not available on the following print sizes: 24x24, 30x45, 30x30, 20x40, 30x50, 30x40, 24x36, 24x30
Color Correction
Color Correction is an optional add-on when fulfilling orders with ProDPI through ShootProof. Color Correction can be added in the lab approval process for each order that you submit to ProDPI through ShootProof and the lab will perform the color correction prior to printing.
Corrections may adjust for skin tones and includes slight color, density, and contrast adjustments.
The price for color correction from ProDPI is a flat price of $0.75 per unique image in the order. This means that if Image A was being printed at ten different sizes in a particular order, you would only be charged one time for color correction for that file.
For each order, you will see the total price for optionally color correcting the order in the add-ons section of the lab order approval for ProDPI.
Boutique Packaging
ProDPI offers a modern style of Boutique Packaging that you can choose when submitting an order to ProDPI through ShootProof.
ProDPI's Premium Packaging includes a 100% recycled kraft box, 70% recycled cream-colored tissue paper, and an earth-friendly cotton ribbon. Available for photo print sizes up to 11×14.
Boutique Packaging adds $7.95 to your lab order cost and can be added on the Approval page for an order. If you do not see the option for boutique packaging on the Approval page, then the order is not eligible due to the size of the items.
