Why am I prompted for a code when I log into ShootProof?

  • Updated

To better protect your account and your clients’ data, we now require two-factor authentication (2FA) for all users.

2FA adds an extra layer of security by requiring not just your password, but also a unique verification code sent via email, text, or to an authentication app when logging in. This means that even if someone gains access to your password, they won’t be able to access your account without the second form of verification.

Why we're making this change:

  • Enhanced Security: 2FA significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access.
  • Protect Sensitive Data: Your account contains personal information, client details, and images that deserve the highest level of protection.
  • Industry Best Practice: Adopting 2FA to keep users safe from evolving cybersecurity threats.

We know it’s an extra step, but it has a big impact on keeping your account secure.

You can edit your 2FA settings by following instructions in this article.
