You can now add MOV, QT, M4V, and MP4 videos file in your gallery. Video uploads can be up to 20GB and be no longer than 60 minutes.
You can upload video files to your gallery through the web uploader* by clicking the Upload Media button within a gallery.
Once you've uploaded the video, click the overflow button for more options for your video file.
Video Thumbnails
Click Edit in the drop-down menu to set the thumbnail that will show for the video in the gallery.
You have three options for selecting your video thumbnail:
- Choose from images that are auto-generated from frames in the video
- Click Generate New Thumbnails to get new auto-generated options from your video
- Click Generate New Thumbnails to get new auto-generated options from your video
- Use the Frame Capture option to select a frame from the video
- Upload a custom thumbnail from your computer
- Custom thumbnail image for videos can be up to 5 mb.
Video Previews
Limit the amount of a video that can be viewed in the gallery by setting or uploading a video preview. This preview will show when you hover over the video in the gallery and when you click play on the video.
Regardless of whether you enable a video preview, a 15-second preview of the start of the video will show when you hover over a video in the gallery.
To set up a video preview, click into the Preview tab and toggle on Video Preview.
Choose a clip from within your video to use as the preview by adjusting the yellow scrubber box along the bottom of the page. You can set the length of the clip by clicking and dragging the white line on either side of the yellow box. Then drag the yellow box over the section you'd like to use. Previews selected from the video can be up to 30 seconds long.
You can also upload a preview video by clicking the Upload Video button on this window. This video can be up to 300mb and needs to follow the video file requirements. For uploaded video previews, the first 15 seconds will be automatically used as the hover preview in the gallery.
*Video uploading is not currently supported by the Desktop Uploader.
